Do not place antenna’s in trees. If the antenna or tree is hit by lightning, large amounts of lightning energy will be felt inside your home or office.

Do not purchase a surge protector unless it is an all-mode surge protector and has a lifetime warranty. This ensures the surge protector is has protective technology installed between each wire.

For Computers a surge protector behind the CPU / Monitor, is highly recommended. Make sure the surge protector has phone protection built into the device. This is the only way to truly protect your computer equipment from direct or nearby lightning strikes!

Do not run electric wiring, data or telephone lines to outlying areas on top of a fence. Fences usally are un-grounded and allow large amounts of lightning energy to flow on the fence wire and enter your home. Should this exist, install a powerful surge protector at each end of the wiring.
